Robert Groffier Gevrey Chambertin 2004

Allen Meadows: Undoubtedly because of the hail storm, this is distinctly less aromatically ripe yet pretty with floral and high toned pinot fruit aromas giving way to earthy but edgy, pure and fresh middle weight flavors. This offers a bit more depth and weight but it will likely always have a slight astringency to the finish. 85-88 points
