Allen Meadows: The nose is remarkably ripe considering the general character of the vintage with an elegantly exotic quality of superb complexity that leads to sweet, powerful and still quite dense flavors that both coat and stain the palate on the long and intense finish. This is nothing short of stupendous for a 1987 white and one that will continue to age gracefully for years to come. Bravo! 94 points
