Stephen Tanzer: Medium green-yellow. Ripe Golden Delicious and pear aromas are complicated by with subtle notes of tobacco, black pepper and dark slate. Then more open and generous in the mouth than the nose would suggest, with the fruit flavors nicely framed in a taut acid structure. Intense apricot and minerals linger on the finish of this harmonious wine. 93 points
