H.U.M. Hofer Pinot Blanc 'Vom Kleinen Eichenfass' 2008

A barrel aged pinot blanc using 20% new barriques with malo and batonnage. It's woodsy without being oaky and is reminiscent of traditional white burgundy. Lots of brine, fruit and wood all come together in harmony with a slight creaminess.
