Allen Meadows: Quite sweet and pretty aromatically if completely atypical as the nose displays a candied cherry/berry character that is more reminiscent of some California pinot noirs than classic Chambertin followed by big, robust, full-bodied flavors that frankly lack nuance and grace though there is good length. 87 points
