Opening aromas include juniper berry/pine, orris and angelica and seeds in harmony and scope; further aeration pushes forward the juniper in good proportion . Entry is unabashedly spirit, peppery, vivid and floral/herbal on the tingling tongue—what a blast of piquant gin; mid palate down plays the grain spirit while highlighting the botanicals in particular the seed aspects, namely caraway and cardamom while the finish goes gently sweet and sap-like.
