Review PIERRE PETERS BRUT 'LES CHETILLONS' CUVEE SPECIALE CHAMPAGNE GRAND CRU 2011
PIERRE PETERS BRUT 'LES CHETILLONS' CUVEE SPECIALE CHAMPAGNE GRAND CRU 2011
Peter Liem - ChampagneGuide.net: "Les Chétillons also appears in a new cuvée that Péters first made in the 2009 vintage, combining the best portions of the vineyard with the best portions of the perpetual cuvée dating back to 1988. Called L'Etonnant Monsieur Victor, it's named after his son, who also created the artwork for the labels: each new release features an original work inspired by (and in homage to) an artist that Victor Péters admires, with the first two releases based on works by the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The wines are as striking as the labels are, bottled on cork for the second fermentation and aged for five years before disgorgement. A mere 1,000 bottles are produced each year."
