Review EMMANUEL ROUGET ECHEZEAUX GRAND CRU 2015
EMMANUEL ROUGET ECHEZEAUX GRAND CRU 2015
93-95 Points - Neal Martin - The Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Echézeaux Grand Cru, matured entirely in new oak, is more reticent than the Vosne Beaumonts at the moment, but unfurls with time and reveals gorgeous marine-like/sea spray aromas, hints of oyster shell infusing the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry, a touch of black truffle infusing the blackberry and bilberry, tightening up, almost clamping down on the masculine finish. It will need several years in bottle. This is superb."
Variety: Pinot Noir
