Review FRANCOIS GRENIER CHAUSSONAT SAINT JOSEPH 2015
FRANCOIS GRENIER CHAUSSONAT SAINT JOSEPH 2015
92 Points - Joe Czerwinski - The Wine Advocate: "Newcomer François Grenier has turned in a star performance in only his second vintage. The 2015 Saint Joseph Chaussenot represents his top wine, sourced from the lieu-dit of the same name in the village of Saint-Désirat. It's a granite terroir, reflected in the wine's firm but fine tannins and crisp-edged structure. Violets, blueberries and blackberries are joined by hints of vanilla and cedary spice, but look for those oak elements to integrate better with the fruit over the next couple of years. It's a medium-bodied wine, yet it offers plenty of flavor without excess weight and a long, spicy-savory finish."
