Review QUINTA DA MURADELLA TINTO ‘MURADELLA’ 2012
QUINTA DA MURADELLA TINTO ‘MURADELLA’ 2012
93 Points - Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media: "(aged for 14 months in used French oak, followed by a year in stainless steel tanks): Vivid ruby-red. Spicy red berries, cherry and candied lavender on the highly perfumed nose. Vibrant, sharply focused redcurrant, bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors are complemented by a smoky mineral nuance. The red fruit and floral notes come back strong on the extremely long, incisive, mineral-laced finish, which is shaped by fine-grained tannins. This beauty should live a long life on its balance and energy."
Variety: Mencia, Mouraton, Trousseau, Alicante Bouschet
