Review WALTER SCOTT PINOT NOIR ’SOJOURNER’ 2016
WALTER SCOTT PINOT NOIR ’SOJOURNER’ 2016
93 Points - Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media: "(raised in 40% new French oak barrels) Limpid ruby-red. Vibrant, smoke-accented aromas of fresh dark berries, cherry pit, licorice and candied rose pick up a hint of cola with air. Shows very good clarity and depth on the palate, offering sappy black raspberry, bitter cherry cola and floral pastille flavors and a touch of allspice. Finishes very long and sappy, featuring sneaky tannins, a vanilla flourish and strong, floral-driven persistence."
Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: Willamette Valley : Eola Hills
