"Eva Fricke wasn’t born into a winemaking tradition, she chose the wine path after getting her first dose of practical training in the vineyards of South Africa. She studied viticulture and oenology in Geisenheim, where she graduated in 2001. In 2008, Eva moved to Kiedrich where her cellar is located today. 50% grapes from holdings in Kiedrich, Walluf, Frauenstein 50% purchased. Loess, clay, slate, and quartzite soils. Fermented in tank, aged 6 months on lees. 14.3 g/l residual sugar, 8.8 g/l acidity."
