“Sostener is owned by Michael Thomas of Wrath Wines and renowned viticulturist Steve McIntrye. Sostener translates to "to sustain" in Spanish. This is an affordable Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Sourced from an estate vineyard planted to clones 19 and "828,", the vineyard is farmed sustainably. The winemaker is Eric Laumann, a graduate of University of California at Davis, and a winemaker for over 30 years. He has worked at Zaca Mesa, Kendall Jackson, Chalone Wine Group and Bonny Doon Vineyards.”
