This sees 100% French oak for 19 months, of which 46% is new. Loads of crème de cassis, blueberry, honeysuckle, plum and coffee bean notes are present in this lush, opulent, sexy and open-knit wine that is a characteristic of 2014. The acidity is low, the tannin fine-grained and the wine irresistible already. Drink it over the next 15 or so years.”
