MASSICAN CHARDONNAY 'HYDE VINEYARD' 2014

“one of the famous vineyards in all of california founded by larry hyde in carneros thirty five years ago. the vineyard is currently farmed by his sons christopher and peter. the estate is planted predominantly to chardonnay and has a list of wineries famous for capturing the essence of this iconic site. the estate is an expanse of rolling hills with south east exposure the hyde parcel of long rows of musque clone of chardonnay that makes up this bottling were planted in 1992. the wine was fermented and aged in new and used french oak. two hundred cases were bottled.”
